Geronimo has established himself as a "True"
country artist doing original material as well as songs by
country music's greatest such as Hank Cochran, who produced and
co-wrote a album with him, Ray Price, Willie Nelson, Floyd
Tillman, Hank Williams, and the other Legends of True Country
Music. His latest albums include "My Heroes Have Always
Killed Cowboys" with Hank Cochran and "Live from
Kendalia Hall" which is a tribute to the Legends of Texas
Dance Hall music. Geronimo is the real thing not just
"another" Hat Act from Nashville.
Rex Foster is truly an American Original, an Artist in the finest sense of the word, an individual whose philosophy and personal approach to living permeates every aspect of his life. His oddyssey has taken him from the frontiers of the psychedelic sixties to the vanguard of the singer/songwriter movement in the nineties.
He has outlasted nickle Cokes,
the Berlin Wall and six Presidents (and the current one is a
fan). His admirers range from gonzo journalist Hunter S. Thompson
to former Texas governor Ann Richards to musical peers such as
Nanci Griffith, Lyle Lovett, Todd Snider, and Jimmy Buffett. But
the essence of his music is still distilled one night at a time,
one stage at a time, from Maine to Malibu. Though Jerry Jeff has
remained true to the troubadour's tradition, he has never allowed
it to entrap him. His music--elastic, unqualifiable, uniquely
empathic-- has retained the power to touch two generations of
listeners. He remains one of America's musical landmarks.

"Blues is not just a kind of music that you can
just learn. It´s a feeling.
You have to have roots, usually coming from great influences in
music.
Omar projects that when he´s playing." Clifford Anton

"He sings of distance,
about rivers and ranches, of smoldering passions and sad laments,
of faraway longing and unrequited love."
Everybody else romances the road. Joe Ely lives it. Call him what
you want - a wandering minstrel, gypsy cowboy, visionary song
poet, or houserocker on fire - whatever he is, Ely's covered a
lot of ground in his time....by Joe Nick Patoski
Jack Ingram has gained notoriety for his
straightforward lyrics and Texas folk sound.
The Fort Worth Star-Telegram describes his music as,
"post-outlaw modern country with a salty, dance-all-night
roadhouse spunk."The music he performs comes from deep in
his musical soul. He doesn't write songs just to be a commercial
success. Ingram wants each song to tell a story.
Ingram's formula is as winning as it is simple: Take some good,
introspective but not maudlin originals about growing up and
moving on, throw in some rousing covers that everybody and their
grandma knows--Waylon's Good Hearted Woman, Merle's Mama
Tried--add a jackhammer beat, some sweetly stinging lead and
pedal steel guitar, and keep the mood light and everybody tapping
their toes.
Country maverick Charlie Robison is cut from that rare brand of Texas singer-songwriter cloth that has given us the likes of Willie Nelson, Steve Earle, Guy Clark and Robert Earl Keen.
In 1995, Robison released an independent debut album, Bandera, to rave reviews. This collection of bold, raw, revealing and tender songs, along with cuts recorded by Kelly Willis and the Geezinslaws, spread Charlie Robison's name and music far beyond the Austin scene. The prestigious Warner-Chappell heard Bandera and was so impressed with the work that they signed Charlie on as a songwriter. Sony Records also sat up and took notice. Charlie began recording for Sony in late 1997.
His fans write...His energy, enthusiasm and talent makes
Todd the best live act I've seen since Petty.(yes I believe the
comparisons are dead on). And the Wrecks are one of the best
backing bands I have ever heard or seen . A true musician for
todays times and attitudes. Its nice to listen to music that you
relate to the lyrics.

Texas
music...you can hear it...and the sounds are as varied as the
colors of the Texas wildflowers.
Texas music...you can see it...and the sights are as panoramic as the Texas landscape itself.
Texas
music...you can feel it...and the feelings are as strong and deep
as the currents of the Guadalupe River.
Texas music...you can taste it...and all the spice and flavor of a Texas barbecue can't compare.
Texas
music...you can even smell it...in the little honky tonks, dance
halls, and back room recording studios scattered across the
state.
Texas music has a life of its' own that encompasses such a multitude and diversity of people and talent that it is beyond mere labels. That is Texas Music...
